Wassail 2026

Huge thanks to everyone who joined and supported us at our Wassail on Sunday 25th January.
From toasting the trees with toast, singing our wassail songs and making “music” through the orchard, to stomping, dancing and enjoying our cider and stew, we had a wonderful time. We were so blessed with blue skies and no wind, a calm and beautiful pause between the storms.
It was fantastic to have The Raffidy Dumitz Band & Core-chestra playing tunes, and to see all the fabulous Osses prancing and dancing. Tim Payne led us in some great Cornish dances, including the Newlyn Reel and serpent dances, which were great fun.
Tatters Morris put on a fabulous display of Morris dancing, as did our own volunteers with their dance around the tree.
Thank you to all the volunteers for all your hard work in making it such a successful event.
