Here’s a little collection of very special and unique ‘Orchard Songs’, featuring new or adapted words, by Phil Heasman.
Some of these are performed by Core-chestra, the Orchard’s collective of musicians.
When Corechestra started, some of these traditional songs were played, and Phil composed lyrics to better suit the orchard (some of the old lyrics are really bawdy), as well as enabling those in Corechestra who didn’t play an instrument to join in.
We have recordings, sheet music and chords for some of these songs if you’d like to join us playing.
