What a happy orchard solstice celebration it was, thank you to everyone who came, lots of friendly faces, an absolutely beautiful sunny day, lots of dancing & a stunning sunset.

Drinking cider and apple juice made from our own apples, elderflower cocktails made from our elder tree and delicious curry provided by St Ives Foodshare and served up by our lovely volunteers.

Fun activities; badminton, hula hooping, suncatcher making, hoop throwing, a very serious snail race and volunteer. A big thanks to Sarah Taylor who came up with the lovely activity or using old cd’s for creating sun catchers.
Sandy Acre 7 got lots of people up and dancing.
A stream of people then headed up to the top of Penbeagle hill to watch the sunset.
