Pumpkin party 2021

Pumpkin party held at St Ives Community orchard was a great success. Despite the strong winds and occasional heavy downpours, the event was well attended and everyone enjoyed the live music provided by Organised Crime, Johanna Hillebrand & True Foxes.
There was a tent provided by Jabula Tents which kept everyone dry and there was hot and cold drinks from the bar, including mulled cider to drink.
An amazing collection of carved pumpkins were brought along, a monkey, a pirate ship and lots of scary faces but the beautiful pumpkin carriage by Jasmine Taylor was a clear winner.
The pumpkin soup & pumpkin burgers went down well, all made with pumpkins donated by Splattenridden farm.  Kids enjoyed making scary faces out of salt dough, berries, leaves & sheeps wool.
Thank you to St Ives Community Foodshare who provided the food and the salt dough that was made using expired flour.
